Who We Are
We believe that Jesus came to earth bodily, lived and died vicariously on the cross at the age of 33years, for the redemption of mankind. And on the third day, He was gloriously raised from the dead by the glory of the Father (Romans 6:4).
Through His death, burial and resurrection, anyone who believes in Him and makes Him his personal Lord and savior becomes a Champion in life; with a life of absolute dominion (called eternal life) over the forces, systems and principles of this evil world (John 3:16).
is raising global champions for Christ through the ministry of the Spirit and the Word, by every available platform

PERSPECTIVES OF MINISTRY
Ministry can be viewed from two perspectives:
- Church ministry or Fellowship Ministry
- Field Ministry
- The Multimedia Ministry (Television and Internet or "Cloud" Ministry)
- Church Ministry (Acts 2:42) This takes place within the four walls of the church building (venue). This may be anywhere; under a tree, tent, garage, open field or space, etc. The following usually take place here: Worship (meaning Corporate Worship) Instruction Fellowship
- Field Ministry (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:38) This is where everything we learn in the church building or venue is put to work. It is basically evangelism. However, the result must be soul winning; engaging someone in your sphere of contact with the message of Christ's salvation and then bringing him to the church building to be built in the things of God until the individual begins to do the same to others.
- The Multimedia Ministry (Television and Internet or "Cloud" Ministry) This has its focus on the TV and internet community; targeting the unreached, unchurched, improperly churched and properly churched. When we add up the above three together, we see the driving principles of the local church in acronym W-I-F-E: W - Worship I - Instruction F - Fellowship E - Evangelism
In summary, evangelism is the main activity of the local church but all that take place in the church building or venue (Worship, Instruction and Fellowship) facilitate it.
Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
As a child of God, your world is your mission field and you must be involved in reaching your world of influence; wherever you find yourself either geographically or by vocation (what you do; your job). For instance, if you are a student, your campus is your mission field or harvest field. Let the following be your statement of commitment to the work of the ministry as you work to bring in the harvest; let these be part of your daily cogitation:
1. I am convinced that God's the gospel is God's only saving power
Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
2. The gospel is the answer to all human problems.
The word salvation is from the Greek word Soteria. It literally means solution to all human concerns. It means preservation, safety, abundance, deliverance, protection, health, peace, etc.
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
3. The gospel is committed to my trust.
1 Timothy 1:11-12
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
You must realize that the gospel has been committed to your trust and therefore respond accordingly.
4. I am delicately committed to the gospel.
It is not enough that the gospel is committed to you, you must be committed to osprey dedicatedly. That's what elicits a positive and spirited response from you in the furtherance of the gospel through your personal efforts.
Galatians 1:15-16
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
5. I am convinced that Jesus Christ is the only way
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Sometimes, Christian respond to the preaching of the gospel as though there were another way for salvation. But the Master told us that there is no other way! This should encourage you as an individual to do more for the Lord. Never assume that others are doing it. You may be surprised that that's not the case. May God trust you to carry out His work diligently. Your conviction of these truths will perpetually set you buoyed for communicating the message of salvation to the ends of the earth, beginning from where you are. Glory!
- The statement of Bible doctrine as believed and taught by Champs Christian Gathering. It has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the foundational principle of the doctrines of Christ.
We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2Timothy3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21) - We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three (3) persons; God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:5-6, 2 Corinthians 8:16; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17)
- We believe in the deity of Christ: (John 1:1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5)
(a) He was born of a virgin; (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
(b) He was conceived of the Holy Spirit; (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
(c) He died; (John 19:30-35)
(d) He rose again from the dead bodily; (John 20:25-29; Luke 24:36-40)
(e) He ascended into heaven bodily; (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16) - We believe in the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4: 16- 17; Matthew 24:29-30)
- We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19; Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7)
- We believe that regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation. (Titus 2:5; John 3:3-5; Ephesians 5:25-27)
- We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body and salvation for the soul of everyone that believes. (1Peter 2:24; Acts 3:16; Acts 9:32-35)
- We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Spirit, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; Acts 3:1-26; Acts 4:5-12)
- We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:16; 1 Corinthians 6:11)
- We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgement. (
Revelation 20:11-15; 1 Corinthians 15:12-23)
